The author is a practicing magical worker and longtime member of the LGBTQ+ community who has been integrating queerness and spirituality for over a decade. Having navigated their own journey of coming out, building chosen family, and creating authentic magical practice in a world that doesn't always make space for either queerness or magic, they understand firsthand the unique challenges and extraordinary gifts that come with living at the intersection of these identities.

Their magical practice draws from multiple traditions including folk magic, modern witchcraft, and energy work, always filtered through the lens of lived LGBTQ+ experience. They have facilitated workshops on queer spirituality, mentored young LGBTQ+ folks exploring magical practice, and been active in creating inclusive spiritual communities both online and in their local area.

As someone who has experienced the transformative power of magic in navigating everything from workplace discrimination to family acceptance to gender expression, they are passionate about making magical practice accessible to LGBTQ+ folks at all stages of their journey. They believe deeply that queerness and magic are natural allies – both require courage to live authentically, both involve transformation and self-determination, and both offer powerful tools for creating positive change in the world

When not writing about magic or facilitating community gatherings, they can be found tending their herb garden, reading tarot for friends, volunteering with local LGBTQ+ organizations, or experimenting with new spell recipes in their kitchen. They live with their chosen family (both human and feline) and believe that the most powerful magic happens when people are free to be completely themselves.
